Advice

Aggregate paths, drives and borders will stay weed-free for longer if a membrane is laid first. The membrane suppresses weed growth, but still allows water to drain through.

Smaller size aggregates are ideal for pots and flower-beds; a coarse aggregate can prevent your plants from attack by slugs.

A larger size aggregate is recommended for drives; a smaller size will become lodged in the tyres of your car.
